Make sure your home is well-insulated.

Power Saving Tips
Select energy efficient AC systems:
Select Inverter AC over conventional 3 star AC units
VRF Systems:
Select VRF system for benefit of lower power consumption and diversity 25 to 30% efficient over conventional systems.
Chilled water plants:
Consult for IPLV of chiller units and VFD pumping systems.
Thermostat Setting:
Select room temperature 24 to 26 Dec C.
Use of ceiling Fan with AC:
Use ceiling Fan with AC for better air circulation at higher temperature.
Thermostat location:
Locate Thermostat away from heat source.
Switch off AC power:
Switch the AC power off when not in use.
Reduce Sun load:
Use Curtains/Blinds/Shading for sun facing windows
